2011 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship, College of the Ozarks, Opening Ceremony

For the past several years, I've had the pleasure of photographing the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship. College of the Ozarks has hosted the tournament since 2000.
Thirty two teams are competing. Colleges from as far away as California, Oregon, Washington State, Florida, Michigan, and Ohio have teams represented at the tournament.
Here are a few photos from before and during the opening ceremony.

The blimp flies around the gym during time outs, and drops items to the crowd below.
CofO sophmore John Matthews, of Wichita, KS joined a group of friends with a unique drinking set up.
CofO Freshman Jenni Kremer, from Kansas City was one of the CofO band members providing music.
CofO President Dr Jerry Davis, left, chats with Dr Justin Carswell, Dean of Campus Ministries before welcoming those in attendance.

Even though I have a near fish eye lens, you can't capture the complete ceremony presentation. The 32 teams line up, spelling out NAIA.
